A Small Timeline Update

Hi everyone, there's no further news on the physical books right now, other than they're currently in production, but I wanted to update you about progress on the PDF adventure, "Cut Him Out in Little Stars." For the moment, work on the PDF adventure has paused, while I've been forced to deal with some physical health issues. Currently, we're about 1-2 weeks behind our assumed fulfillment timeline, and you'll likely see fulfillment of all rewards by the end of August. If the books arrive earlier, obviously they'll ship earlier, but it's currently looking like we should receive them the week of August 8th. The PDF adventure may take slightly longer, but I'll continue to keep you updated as we progress toward completion. I'm not sure how much recovery time I'll need, but I'm estimating it probably won't be more than two weeks. I'll let you know as soon as I'm able to begin work again.

Proofs Have Arrived!

Print Proofs

Hello friends! The proof for the print book arrived this afternoon, and I'm really happy with the finished product. There are a few minor  adjustments--mostly resizing/placement for some of the art--but everything else looks great! I'll be making those adjustments over the next couple of days and I'll be submitting the full print order this Monday. For now, enjoy a couple pics of the proof to tide you over, and please excuse the poor lighting in my office:

Mage to Order at GenCon Indy & GenCon Online

If you're attending this year's GenCon Indy or GenCon Online, we'll be running demos of Mage to Order during both events. Game registration for GenCon Online opens August 15th, and you can sign up to play a three-hour demo of a new Mage to Order adventure about a team of mages assigned to work MOTE's graveyard shift. If you're attending GenCon Indy, IGDN will also be running demos of Mage to Order and should have physical copies for purchase at the booth--in case you need more than one!

Other than that, there's no more news to share at the moment. Expect another update once books have arrived and we start shipping them out to backers.

Addresses and Pre-Orders Locked

Hello friends! At this time all address changes and everything having to do with pre-orders should be locked for all backers. There are a small (around 3%) number of backers who still haven't filled out their surveys. Please do this asap so we can get your rewards to you as soon as possible. There's also a very small portion of you whose credit cards declined. Please update your credit card information in Backerkit, or email me directly ([email protected]) if there's a reason you cannot do so, and we'll try to get it resolved.

Other than that, there's not a lot of news since the last update. We were just notified that the proof has shipped from the printer, so we'll be able to review it soon. We've also begun work on the PDF adventure, Cut Him Out in Little Stars, so everything remains on schedule. As a reward for putting up with all of these updates, here's a sneak-peek at the cover mock-up for Cut Him Out in Little Stars!

An Brief Update

By now, you should have gotten the notice from Backerkit that we'll be locking down addresses, pre-orders and everything else in the next 48 hours. This means cards will be charged if they haven't been already, and you won't be able to change your address after midnight on Wednesday. This is because we're at the point in the process where the book is with the printer and we're waiting for the proof to arrive. Once it does we'll do one last check to make sure everything looks the way it's supposed to, then give them the go ahead to print.

That's all the news we have for now. We'll update you again once the proof arrives, and should be able to give you a more accurate timeline for when we can start sending books out to backers.

Locking Addresses and Pre-Orders

Hi everyone! Here's a quick update for Mage to Order as we enter the printing phase:

We're on track to begin shipping in early August, and are going to be locking pre-orders and shipping addresses in Backerkit in a little over a week. You have until July 15th to make any changes, so you still have some time to make sure everything is updated. 

At this point in time, all backers should have already received their PDF copy of Mage to Order. If you have not, please email me at [email protected]! As previously mentioned, physical books will be shipped in August, and the PDF adventure, "Cut Him Out in Little Stars," should be available via Backerkit around the same time. The PDF adventure will not be available to purchase if you aren't a pre-order customer or Kickstarter backer, so grab your copy before July 15th!

Expect another brief update after addresses have been locked, and right before we begin shipping toward the beginning of August!
